Being healthy is a journey, not a destination.

Growing up with an alcoholic father and a verbally and physically abusive stepmother, I learned a few things about myself. I had a fighting spirit, and playing outside every moment possible became my escape and my continued love for being active. Food on the other hand was my “drug”, of choice, especially sugar. I ate to avoid my emotions, which meant I ate A LOT!  I would take the money I earned sewing and delivering papers and sneak a ride down to the 7-Eleven and buy candy – and I’m talking about a lot of candy - that I would take home and hide and then of course, eat!   


The positive and negative (self-sabotaging) belief systems that I learned at a young age became who I was - my story. That was until I reached my early twenties. I woke up to the fact that I cried all the time, had no friends, and trusted nobody. I was very unhappy. I knew I had to do something, but since I had no one to turn to, I started reading “self-help” books. 


Fast forward many years and a lot of work later, I consider myself a “healthy” person. I live an authentic life, have a loving husband, take part in the community, and have a business and clients that I love. Through Head-to-Toe Coaching I can take my love of being active along with my optimistic view of life and desire to help/inspire others to change their beliefs and scripts to create a healthy lifestyle. I am continually growing and fine-tuning my happiness and joy by improving myself with education (certifications), awareness, and feedback. For me, being healthy is a journey, not a destination.

I just love the World Health Organization’s (WHOs) definition of health - “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”  There is so much packed into that statement. My approach to health is truly from Head-to-Toe!  Once we get past the fact that each of us lives in a human body, we’re all different, yet similar.


As a coach, I will help you create a health plan, physical-related goals, and any personal goals you want to attain.  I will help you create an action plan to achieve those goals, break negative patterns and habits and replace them with healthy ones that serve you. It doesn't matter whether you are a "group" kind of person or prefer to be coached individually, there is a program for you.  Your success IS my success. 

We know we need to change what we’re doing or face serious consequences, but making changes, big or small, without support and accountability can be incredibly difficult.  We we are creatures of habit.  Through the transformative power of coaching, behavioral psychology, intuitive listening, habit change, and healthy lifestyle design; I can help you no matter where you are physically located!  That’s the beauty of online capabilities – no limitations. Of course, if you are local, then more of your guidance can be in person.


I as hands-on in your journey as you need me to be.  I will walk alongside you towards your goals and success. I will bridge the gap between "wanting to do" or "knowing" what you should do and doing!
